30 Things Scarier Than The Clown Sightings

Believe me.

Hopefully, you're no stranger to what's been going on in the news lately. People are dressing up as clowns and strolling onto high school and college campuses, even main roads in suburban town as if this life is some sort of horror flick directed by Michael Bay. While I have to admit, these clown sightings across the nation are scaring the crap out of me, and I assume most of you, there's honestly much more frightening things in this world than masked psychos swarming the streets in attempt to get a good scare of out someone (hard to believe I know). Let's begin:

1. The next presidential debate.

2. Not to mention, either of these two candidates as president of this country.

3. Leonardo DiCaprio quitting acting to go to Mars.

4. Kim Kardashian being considered one of the most powerful women in the world.

5. My mom when I miss her call.

6. Chipotle having once considered to get rid of guac as an ingredient.

7. This bizarre season of American Horror Story and it's unclear theme.

8. Drake shaving his beard.

9. Harry Styles cutting off his hair.

10. Your bank account after a night out.

11. Someone finding all your saved screenshots.

12. Doc Martens.

13. When your wifi connection decreases to one little bar.

14. When your phones on 10 percent and you have four hours left of your shift.

15. Someone breaking out their uggs in September.

16. Opening your messages and seeing the three dots while waiting for a text back from your crush.

17. The bathroom at the bar.

18. Liking someones picture from 116 weeks ago.

19. The pictures of you decked out in your Justice clothes from 5th grade.

20. When you hear everyone discussing the answer to question 2, saying it was 11 but you got 94.

21. When you lie on your resume and they hire you but mostly for a skill you're incapable of.

22. When a teacher says "Who haven't I called on yet?'

23. Thinking it's Friday but it's actually Wednesday.

24. Finding out what's really in McNuggets.

25. Waking up and not knowing where you are or what year it is after an accidental nap.

26. Waking up and not knowing where you are after a night out.

27. Family Gatherings.

28. Having to call somewhere to order something, ask a question, etc.

29. Graduation.

30. Screaming Children.

You see? You have a lot scarier things to be afraid of.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
