Throughout your life, wherever you go, you'll end up meeting friends along the way. These friends will often fall into one of these three categories.
1. The "Only for Two Hours" Friends.
Occasionally, you meet friends that you really believe are going to good friends. You think you'll enjoy hanging out with them for the day, maybe even the weekend, so you decide to have a sort of sleep over for a few days to cool off and have a good time. The car ride there is enjoyable; they listen to the same music as you (for the most part), they eat the same food as you so there isn't arguing when you stop for dinner. Then, you get to the house and start to sit down and relax, but they push you to do things you didn't really want to do in the first place. Throughout the whole weekend, you quickly realise they're the kind of person you can only spend a few hours with, but you're stuck in the house until it's time to go back home.
2. The Party Friends.
Then, there are the people that you meet at parties. You walk into the apartment or house and grab a red solo cup of beer and pound it back before beginning to socialise. The music is loud, and there are about 30 people in one room alone, so finding your way around the house is more complicated than it seemed pre-booze. Once you find someone that you can hang out with, you start to talk about your life and drink more booze, and then you eventually get into the drinking games together and plan out a spa weekend or game-day bar hopping trip. You go home and fall asleep with ease. When you wake up the next morning with a pounding headache, you look at your phone to see missed messages and calls from a name you don't remember, who happens to be your best friend from the night before.
3. Best Friends.
Best friends are truly what the name implies. These are the people that you met in the most random of situations and they just happened to stick with you since then. You either spend every waking moment talking to them and doing things with them, or you sit on your phones in the same room and don't talk for an hour, unless you're showing them something on Pinterest or iFunny. You either pretend to be on Iron Chef for the night and cook some extravagant meal, or you order in pizza and eat the entire thing in ten minutes. Best friends are the ones you feel most comfortable with and never have to go out of your way to have fun. You could live with each other and have no problem, and if you do, it's usually over something small and blows over within the next day.
