Whether you are a high school student, college student, burnt out adult, or what have you, you at one point in your life have probably decided you wanted to watch Netflix. I mean, you pay for a subscription, why not use it? You probably at some point in your life binged watched a show on one of your streaming services. We are all guilty here, there is no reason to hang your head around the room and look at everyone else raising your hands. Go ahead, raise yours, too.

However, if you are like me, you struggle with what TV shows you should possibly devote a good chunk of your time to binge watch. If you are also like me, you may not necessarily want to binge watch the newest or most hip TV shows. For your enjoyment, here are my recommendations on shows you should binge watch.

1. Law & Order: SVU

You simply cannot have a list of TV shows you should binge watch without SVU being on the list. Never mind the fact that it is the last part of the "Law & Order" franchise still creating episodes, but it is just plain amazing. You honestly grow with the characters, and if you think your heart can take the abuse of women, children and the elderly (the special victims) then this is the show for. Unfortunately, the show is still continuing and so you won't be able to "finish" the show. BUT it especially gets good in the last few seasons because they start focusing on a lot of main character development, something the writers and creators really didn't do for the first five years or so that the show was running.

2. Buffy the Vampire Slayer

If you are craving a healthy dose of some good 1990s/early 2000s nostalgia which watching a teenage girl kick some vampire butt -- this is the show for you! I am still not over Buffy/Angel/Spike love triangle and have convictions about it every time I watch the show. What's good about this show is that all the seasons are on Netflix, so you don't have to pine for more.

3. Sons of Anarchy

So honestly, this show took me a year and a half to watch, not because it's long, but because I am secretly in love with Jax Teller and I never wanted the show to end. The character development is so good and I mean, who doesn't find men in leather who are basically modern Robin Hoods attractive?

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
