Regardless of whether you want to or not, you remember your first kiss. It was probably in middle school, at school dance or on your first “date” which was really just going to get pizza with your parents and your crush. Either way, you remember it but we can all unanimously agree this is not something we would want to relive again, not now, not ever.
In this moment right now, I encourage you to thank whatever higher power you believe in that that part of your life is over, and that you did not capture it on video like people are starting to do. Yeah, you heard me. People are recording first kisses and putting it on the internet because why not.
But for some ungodly reason, there is a trend going around where people make videos of their first kiss. Why? Because they know not what they do. Let’s just remember them in our prayers when 15 years down the road they realize that everyone they know, work for, work with, and their children will see this godforsaken video.
These videos are sweet, but also are really awkward and you can literally feel yourself have a flashback to your own first kiss. Mixed feelings are hard to deal with, and honestly, that’s probably how you felt about that kiss, too. I know I’m right.

See, it’s kind of cute in a really awkward way that makes me highly uncomfortable for everyone involved. But hey, maybe these people hit it off. Who knows. All that I have to say to these participants is that it’s only up from here. No more awkward introductions or weird side hugs after.
Cheers to the fact that we’re in a better place now.
