1. San Francisco

San Francisco is a happening city surrounded by the San Francisco Bay and Pacific Ocean. The Golden Gate bridge has 746 foot tall towers and is one mile long. The bridge is famous for its breathtaking views. Another popular attraction is the Alcatraz island prison. Visitors can reach this island by ferry from Pier 33. Close by on Pier 39 is Fisherman's Wharf. This well known tourist attraction is known for its seafood restaurants and sea lion colony.


2. Los Angeles

This busy city is the second largest in United States based off of population. It is also the center of America's Entertainment industry. Take a stroll at Hollywood's Walk of Fame or visit TCL Chinese Theatre. Both of these must-see attractions are located in Hollywood. The Griffith Observatory has both exciting exhibitions and a great planetarium. Nearby is the largest urban park in the country: Griffith Park. Finally, you can take a walk on Sunset Boulevard to get a feel of the Hollywood lifestyle.


3. San Diego

San Diego is a coastal city located near the Mexican border. Balboa Park is famous for its natural vegetation and beautiful gardens. It is a wonderful place to spend the day strolling gardens and visiting museums. Another must-see San Diego attraction is the San Diego Zoo. This world famous zoo has over 3500 animal species and 1800 acre wildlife preserve. In downtown San Diego, the USS Midway Museum can be found. Climb aboard the real aircraft carrier to explore its galleys and collection of aircrafts.
