A lot of people say that living with a best friend could hurt your relationship, but in my case, living in a room together is the reason we became best friends. And I have a lot to say thank you for.
1. Thank you for being my built-in date for anything and everything. Whether it’s our weekly adventures, food outings, or never turning down an opportunity to Netflix and Chill, I can always count on you to be right by my side.
2. Thank you for being a morning person and motivating me to get my day started…even when it’s 7 a.m. and I’d rather die than get out of bed.
3. And thank you for not chopping my head off every morning when my alarm goes off 400 times.
4. Thank you for your cleanliness and organization skills, because Lord knows I lack in that area.
5. Thank you for always having a smile on your face and for the positive attitude you approach every day with.
6. Thank you for eating cupcakes with me for breakfast.
7. Thank you for always taking out the trash and refilling the Brita.
8. Thank you for keeping our fridge stocked and buying all my favorite foods even when you disagree with the idea of Skippy peanut butter.
9. Thank you for all your texts asking where I am and telling me you miss me.
10. Thank you for never hesitating to get in bed with me to watch TV or a movie.
11. Thank you for being my partner in crime whenever we go out together.
12. Thank you for always being down for a wine night, and for suggesting that we buy every single kind of white wine so that we can taste test them all.
13. Thank you for never leaving a party without me before checking in.
14. Thank you for the naps we take together.
15. Thank you for singing duets with me in the car… especially when Sam Smith comes on.
16. Thank you for making me feel good about my singing abilities and lyric memorization skills. Kidding.
17. Thank you for always being there for fashion and makeup advice.
18. Thank you for the unapologetic way you live your life and being so confident and sure of yourself, always.
19. Thank you for being my buddy and rallying to go out with me even when you’re too tired to function.
20. Thank you for convincing me to buy matching pajamas with you.
21. Thank you for always asking if I need anything.
22. Thank you for doing my laundry for me.
23. Thank you for being my best friend and making every day so exciting.
24. Thank you for laughing at all my jokes when I thought my leg was going to need to be amputated.
25. And thank you for being by my side when I got hurt and doing everything and anything to help me since (I promise, if you [idiotically] slip on a floor and injure yourself I will do the same for you).
