  1. She’s your Mommy. Duh, so call her.
  2. You miss her.
  3. She misses you, too.
  4. She wants to know what you've been up to, but she won’t know if you never call and tell her.
  5. She raised you into the person you are today, and sometimes you just need to thank her for that.
  6. She took care of you when your were sick. The person who was always there to wipe your snotty nose and to hug you while you continued to sneeze all over them deserves an award, and a phone call.
  7. She was your first friend, and she will always be your best friend.
  8. She always has your best interest at heart.
  9. She listens to everything you say because she truly cares about every little detail of your day. Go ahead, tell her everything.
  10. She loves girl-talk. You love girl-talk, too. So spill it.
  11. You miss her. Whoops, did I already say that?
  12. She’s lonely without you around all the time. I mean, you did keep her company for 18 years.
  13. You two are the same person. Who better to have a conversation with than yourself?
  14. She knows you like the back of her hand. You can call her, and with just the slight change in your voice she knows everything. When I say everything, I mean everything.
  15. She won’t judge you.
  16. She can always give you that slightest bit of encouragement that will make you get up and do everything you've been meaning to get done for weeks.
  17. She’s always willing to give you an update on your dogs. Thank you, mom, because I miss those puppies almost as much as I miss you.
  18. You can always complain to her. I can assure you, she will agree with almost every complaint that you have. She’s cool like that.
  19. Gossip is her middle name, so she’s always willing to listen to the new stories you have. She’s the best secret-keeper.
  20. She’s a good listener when you're crying about your life falling apart. When you're done crying, she’ll tell you exactly what to do first to put your life back together.
  21. Having boy problems? Tell your Mom. She’s a magic women with things like that, and will tell you just what to do.
  22. She’s always on your side with everything you do. She’ll be there to back up every decision you make, because she’s the best coach and your biggest fan.
  23. You miss her. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we know.
  24. She gave you your good looks, so call her and thank her for that. I mean, why not?
  25. She made you. She at least deserves a phone call for that.
  26. She will always make your bad days better. She’s the ultimate comfort zone. On days when you're feeling down, she will always pick you up.
  27. She knows all. When you have no idea how to get that massive stain out of your favorite white shirt, call her, and she will walk you through it step-by-step.
  28. She’s probably gone through almost everything that your currently going through, so call her and ask her how she handled things. She will always tell you the best thing to do.

If these aren’t enough reasons for you to call your Mom right now, I don’t know what to tell you. So give that beautiful woman a call, and don’t forget to tell her that you love her and miss her more than she knows. If you're extra nice, maybe she will send you a care package, or bring your dogs up for a visit, or something (wink, wink).
