When you work at an ice cream shop, you have a completely different understanding of the ice cream world. There are so many aspects you wouldn't know unless you worked at an ice cream shop, so here is a glimpse into the life of an ice cream artist.

1. The very first ice cream cone you ever made was awful, but you’ve totally perfected them by now.

2. You have mastered the art of memorizing lists.

3. You have a list of your favorite creations ready to go for when someone asks for suggestions.

4. You know the exact prices of everything without ringing it up.

5. There is a mutual understanding when someone orders a blizzard, hurricane, arctic swirl or tornado that they want soft-serve ice cream with candy in a cup all mixed together.

6. You make more than 100 ice cream cones a day.

7. When customers are rude to you, you simply smile and pretend it doesn’t bother you.

Come on people, you are getting ice cream… cheer up!

8. When a huge family comes up to order, you pray they all order soft-serve cones.

However, we all know they will order a small and medium chocolate milkshake, a mint chocolate chip cone with sprinkles, an Oreo arctic swirl with chocolate ice cream, a medium hot fudge sundae with whipped cream and a cherry, a banana boat, a hot fudge cake and a small twist cone, and you memorized all of it.

9. You know the perfect combination of flavors in a milkshake.

10. You are a professional cone carrier.

Carrying four cones at a time is pure talent.

11. You don’t get disgusted that you have five-hour-old ice cream dried on your skin, it's normal.

12. You have to apologize when the ice cream is too soft because it doesn’t look the best.

13. You are comfortable with a lot of people in a small amount of space.

14. What are breaks? You don’t know because there are always customers.

15. You love seeing the regular customers, and you know what they want before they even get to the window.

16. You love having conversations with so many people. Honestly, it is probably one of the best parts of the job.

17. Saying sorry a million times a night because you constantly run into everyone in the tiny glass box.

18. You and your co-workers always make fun of the people who make up their own parking spots.

19. You love seeing smiles on the customers faces when hand out their ice cream.

20. You get frustrated when people pull in five minutes before you close

“Come on, we just cleaned everything!”

21. When the baseball and softball games are over, you know there will be a ton of people in line.

22. You are constantly deciphering what people want versus what they order.

“Can I get a chocolate swirl?”

Yes, do you want a chocolate cone, a twist cone or an actual arctic swirl?

23. You appreciate the customers who tip.

We can’t say thank you enough!

24. When you get ice cream anywhere else, you automatically compare how they do things there.

25. You appreciate when people wait in long lines in the blazing heat for your ice cream.

26. You know that as soon as you see little kids, there will be mini sprinkle cones ordered.

27. You like everyone you work with so much because they make working fun!

Working in an ice cream shop is quite possibly the best job in the world. What's not to love about ice cream?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
