Having a little sister isn't always fun and games; most of the time, she drives you absolutely insane.

1. She copies everything you do.

2. She constantly uses your past mistakes as an excuse to get away with things.

3. She gets everything so much earlier: phones, laptops, social media accounts, etc.

4. She's more spoiled in general. And she knows it.

5. You're always expected to be "the mature one."

6. She eats your food.

7. She gets away with things that you get in trouble for, just because she's younger.

8. No matter how big the age gap is, you're always compared to each other by adults.

9. No matter how old she gets, she'll always be the "baby" of the family, which comes with its own benefits.

10. She thinks she's way smarter than you were at her age.

11. She acts like she's 4-5 years older than she actually is.

12. Parents are already used to the awkwardness that comes along with puberty since you went through it first, so it's not nearly as traumatizing for her.

13. She can watch you suffer the consequences from your mistakes, and then makes a huge point to never make the same ones.

But through thick and thin, you know that having a little sister is the one of the biggest blessings in your life.

14. She looks up to you, even though she might never admit it.

15. She copies you because she admires you.

16. She's always there for you, whether it be a shoulder to cry on or help getting the groceries out of the car.

17. She understands when you're upset with your parents better than anyone.

18. She values your opinion more than anyone else's.

19. She supports you, but also isn't afraid to tell you you're wrong about something (even though you might not take her seriously at first).

20. She misses you more than anyone when you're off at school.

21. She tends to listen to you more than your parents.

22. Since she acts way older than she actually is, she can connect with you on a much higher level than just any other kid her age could.

23. She always knows exactly what to get you for your birthday.

24. She actually knows you better than you know yourself.

25. You can be 100% completely yourself around her.

26. She loves you unconditionally.
