Dads are pretty incredible people who love you unconditionally. Despite how you feel about your dad, you may not explicitly say to him all the time, "I love you." However, I was thinking about it the other day, and I realized that there are a myriad of ways to tell your dad you love him besides actually saying, "I love you." It's not about the words, but instead the meaning you put behind these words and actions.
1. "I stopped at the grocery store on my way home from work, and I bought you *insert favorite food*."
2. "Yes, I did take the trash out, mow the lawn, and clean up the backyard."
3. "Wait! It's on sale, and I have a coupon!"
4. "Don't worry, I'll drive *insert sibling name(s)* to practice."
5. "I bought us tickets for the big game!"
6. "Can you help me fix this? I'm pretty sure it's broken beyond repair, but there's still a chance!"
7. "The weather is so nice today. We're totally grilling!"
8. "Surprise! I wanted to visit you at work today."
9. "I didn't know what to do, so I called you first."
10. "You're right, I'm over-reacting. I can definitely do this."
11. "Thank you for believing in me."
12. "I'm scared, but you're right, I have to try."
13. "How do you always know the right thing to say?"
14. "I just want to relax and hang out with you."
15. "It was weird being away from home for so long, and I'm really glad you answered all my frantic phone calls."
16. "Dad, don't worry. I learned from the best!"
17. "I messed up. What do I do now?"
18. "Yes, you are definitely a cool dad."
19. "Can we talk? I need to talk this out."
20. "Do you remember this picture? That was truly one of the best days ever."
21. "Just because I'm far away, it doesn't mean I'm not thinking about you."
22. "You've taught me that I am worth it."
23. "I'm the luckiest daughter in the world."
24. "It made me think of you, so I had to get it for you!"
25. "I'm never going to forget this moment."
Tell your dad you love him. It doesn't matter how you say it, he deserves to hear it everyday. He's been your number one fan since the beginning, and he'll be there for every moment to come as well. <3
