Getting home from a hard day at elementary school called for eating a snack and watching your favorite TV show. Sit down and turn the TV to Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, or Cartoon Network and you would have found some of my favorite shows. Here's just a few I can remember. Is your favorite on this list?

1. "Kenan & Kel"

Who loves orange soda? Kel does!

2. "All That"

3. "Dragon Tales"

I wish, I wish with all my heart, to fly with dragons in a land apart. I even had the "Dragon Tales" video game.

4. "Dexter's Laboratory"

I didn't watch this much, but I vaguely remember this weird scientist kid.

5. "Danny Phantom"

6. "Double Dare"

Anyone remember this? The family game show full of slime and many other messy games.

7. "That's So Raven"

A Disney Channel classic. Not my favorite, but the favorite of many!

8. "Hannah Montana"

We got the best of both worlds with this TV show. I even had a VIP membership card to the Miley Cyrus fan club.

9. "Phil Of The Future"

Definitely one of my favorites. You can't forget the meatloaf spray episode, or the one where they go to the virtual future mall.

10. "Lizzie McGuire"

Another one of the best! Who can forget the once in a lifetime senior trip to Rome in "The Lizzie McGuire Movie?"

11. "Sagwa the Chinese Siamese Cat"

Did anyone else watch this show? I can remember learning how to write the Chinese character for "rain" from this show, I can still do it today!

12. "The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron"

And then there was that time when Jimmy Neutron and Timmy Turner did a mashup show...

13. "Drake and Josh"

Hug me Brotha!

14. "Even Stevens"

I can remember the movie more than the show, but I know it was a favorite for many of my friends!

15. "Life With Derek"

"This is life with Lizzie, Edwin, George and Nora, Marti and Casey! Livin' life with Derek!"

16. "ZOOM"

The best educational television show out there.

17. "The Disney Channel Games"

I know it wasn't really a TV show, but this was one of my favorite parts of Disney Channel! The best part was getting to see the actors who played in Disney shows from all over the world.

18. "Liberty's Kids"

With this PBS kids show, I probably learned more about American history than I did in high school.

19. "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody"

This one was probably the best show on Disney Channel.

20. "Kim Possible"

If you didn't want to be Kim Possible, were you even born in the ]90s?

21. "Zoey 101"

Can I please go to a school like PCA?

22. "Legends of the Hidden Temple"

Nick GAS was the best game show channel.

23. "Nick GUTS"

This was like the kids version of American Ninja Warrior. All you wanted was for your favorite competitor to make it to the top of the Mega Crag mountain.

24. "Figure It Out"

The show where you would get slimed if you failed to "figure it out" also was on Nickelodeon GAS.

25. "The Amanda Show"

And finally, the craziest show on Nickelodeon, "The Amanda Show." This show may have inspired my Instagram and Twitter username...

I know there are plenty more to list such as "Boy Meets World" and "Full House," but these are just a few of my favorite shows as a kid! Let me know if I missed your favorite show!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
