One of the running gags in the hilarious mockumentary, "The Office," was Michael Scott's profound hatred for HR representative Toby Flenderson. Though Toby had his quirks, like his obsession with the Scranton Strangler case, he was a seemingly normal guy. What fueled Michael's hatred was Toby's ability to squash any of Michael's attempts of fun -- which usually included inappropriate behavior and jokes, excessive alcohol, and other shenanigans.

I think that everyone has a Toby Flenderson in their life. For Batman, it's the Joker, for the mailman, it's dogs, for toddlers it's nap time, and for college students, it's the following 25 things.

1. That one kid who always reminds the professor that it's quiz day.

2. When you pull an all-nighter studying for a test and then realize you studied the wrong chapters.

3. When you have a million things to do but absolutely no motivation.

4. That moment when you are completely zoned out and the professor says your name.

5. Group projects.

6. When your relatives ask you if you know what your plans for after college are.

7. When the fire alarm in your dorm goes off.

8. When you bump into that person you were best friends with for just the first week of school.

9. Gaining the freshman 15.

10. When you pay $367 for a textbook and end up never using it.

11. When you're late to class because you couldn't find any parking spots.

12. Trying to manage school, work, family, your social life, and extracurriculars.

13. Constantly thinking of dropping out.

14. When the community bathrooms are overcrowded.

15. When your friends want to go out to eat but you have $0.31 in the bank account.

16. When it's been three weeks and your professor still hasn't put the grades in.

17. When you're sick and have to take care of yourself.

18. Presentations.

19. When your GPA starts to drop.

20. When all your friends are in relationships and you're still single.

21. When your professor assigns homework over the break.

22. Listening to a lecture after not getting any sleep.

23. When you go in for tutoring and still have no idea what you're doing.

24. When it's time to enroll for next semester and all that's left are 8 a.m. classes.

25. When you realize your time in college is flying by and you're actually going to miss it.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
