Living in Mountainview as a freshman definitely has its benefits, but, unfortunately, it also has detriments too. It is the nicest freshmen dorm building, however, it is the furthest building from virtually any classroom or dining hall. Without further adieu, here are some thoughts that multiple Mountainview residents have expressed over the course of this year regarding their home away from home.
1. I am so far from my classes... No freshman 15 for me

2. I have to wake up 20 minutes earlier than everyone else
3. Why is it so cold outside when I have to walk for fifteen minutes to get to my classes?

4. If I call public safety, what are the odds they will give me a ride to class?

5. Can I hijack one of those golf carts?
6. Why is the cafeteria so far?

7. I'm at the rat...I'm only halfway there...

8. Okay, I am going to eat at the Rat tonight... not because the food is better, but because I don't feel like walking all the way to the cafeteria
9. Scratch that... there's no way I'm walking to the rat either... Droogies it is
10. I love Hogan Road

11. How do I direct the delivery guy to Hogan Road?

12. Why is the gym so far?

13. I'm definitely counting my walk to and from the gym as part of my workout

14. Being one of the only freshmen dorms with co-ed floors has its perks...

15. Thank God my bathroom is connected to my room

16. I wish the cleaning ladies would clean our bathroom on Monday's instead of Friday's
17. God bless the cleaning ladies, though

18. Why are the laundry machines always full?
19. How do other freshmen live without all of this extra space?

20. What would I do without our common room?
21. What would I do without the extra common room outside of our common room?

22. Why is the cell service so bad in this building?
