25 Things to Do During the "Orange is the New Black" Theme Song
Obviously Marvelous

There never seems to be enough hours in the day. Most Netflix subscribers understand that binge-watching a series can be a full-time job. The highly-anticipated Season Four of the Netflix original, Orange is the New Black, is no exception. Since its release on June 17, viewers have been glued to their screens, eagerly chanting, "The animals! The animals!" The theme song, "You've Got Time" by Regina Spektor is a perfectly fitting and unbelievably catchy song, that, by my calculations, lasts approximately 68 seconds with the opening credits. In an age when continuous multitasking seems to be the only way to complete all of one's daily activities, the opening credits is a perfect opportunity to fit as many activities into 68 seconds as possible. With so many shows to watch and so many things to get done before the day is out, consider these 25 productive tasks to complete as you enter the world of Litchfield Penitentiary:

1. Do 68 Jumping Jacks.

2. Cook Half of a Bag of Popcorn.

3. Check Your Email.

4. Watch 9(ish) Vines

5. Make a good cup of coffee. Embrace the mug life.

6. Floss--Your dental hygiene is no joke.

7. Walk 100 steps.

8. Shake your phone 100 times to get more steps in instead of walking.

9. Take out the trash. Man, you are really getting those steps in now.

10. Contemplate the reality of human existence.

11. Make a new playlist for the summer.

12. Clean out the refrigerator.

13. Confess your love to your pet.

14. Convince yourself that you can hold your breath for the entire song.

15. Actually attempt to hold your breath in case you ever decide to become a stunt diver (like my high school career quiz told me to).

16. Become increasingly aware of your small lung capacity. Catch your breath.

17. Order a Domino's pizza online.

18. Eat the half-bag of popcorn until the pizza comes.

19. Finally dig into your mountain of laundry.

20. Look up why you remember the actress Laura Prepon.

21. Remember that she was Donna from That '70s Show.

22. Make an "Orange really is the new black" joke about the fact that Laura Prepon's hair went from orange to black.

23. Laugh about how funny you are for approximately 68 seconds.

24. Contemplate when you should start your comedy tour.

25. There is the fast forward option, but remember how much more you can accomplish.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
