We all know we owe our moms the world, but we often do not express it. Through every accomplishment, my mom has been there cheering me on. Through every heartache, she is always there providing me reassurance and reminding me that it will eventually get better. In all reality, I owe everything to my mom. But here are a few specific thank you's.

1. Thank you for never giving up on me.

2. Thank you for always being the person I go to for advice.

3. Thank you for always dropping whatever you are doing to help me when I am in need.

4. Thank you for supporting me through all of my endeavors.

5. Thank you for teaching me how to love myself before I could love anyone else.

6. Thank you for always pushing me to be my best.

7. Thank you for teaching me the importance of working for what I want.

8. Thank you for teaching me independence.

9. Thank you for always reassuring me that I can achieve anything I set my mind to.

10. Thank you for always making sure I feel loved.

11. Thank you for letting me be a kid.

12. But thank you for telling me when I need to be an adult.

13. Thank you for all of the patience you have demonstrated towards me.

14. Thank you for making sure I am always being taken care of.

15. Thank you for always trying to stay connected with me.

16. Thank you for teaching me the importance of an education.

17. Thank you for helping me regain my lost hopes and dreams and find faith in them again.

18. Thank you for understanding and doing what is best for me.

19. Thank you for challenging me, and making sure I always challenge myself because you know I can do it.

20. Thank you for inspiring me.

21. Thank you for teaching me humility.

22. Thank you for loving me more than you love yourself.

23. Thank you for all of the sacrifices you have made for our family.

24. Thank you for being my role model.

25. Thank you for being you.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
