Targét, the magical store where all of your money seems to disappear to. It has the power to provide you with things you never even knew you needed. I believe it is impossible to walk out of this place empty handed, and I'm sure many people have experienced the black hole that is Target. (P.S. The Cartwheel app really does have great savings.) Here's what a seemingly harmless trip to Target may look like...
1. I just need laundry detergent; this should take about 10 minutes.
2. Oh look, the dollar section. This stuff is basically free!
3. I definitely need this mason jar, and these rainbow Post-It notes, and these candles, and this candy, and this fake plant.
4. 40% off sweaters? Yes, please.
5. Oh, this blanket is so fuzzy...everyone needs a fuzzy blanket.
6. I could use some more lights in my room. And this decorative pillow.
7. I'm kind of hungry, I guess I could check out the food section.
8. Salsa, chips, hummus, granola, fruit snacks, guacamole, and ice cream. That should do for now.
9. What did I come here for again?
10. Laundry detergent, right.
11. Oh, those shoes are so cute and they're only $15. That's basically free...
12. I could use a new pair of sunglasses, too, while I'm here.
13. I should really get some new mascara, too.
14. Probably should get some makeup remover wipes and this really good smelling lotion while I'm in the beauty section.
