1. You know all the OHOP deals, and probably order from them more than you'd like to admit

2. The temperature hits 50 degrees and everyone is wearing shorts

3. You get excited when the grilled cheese at Hilltop is on white bread instead of wheat

4. You know Wednesdays are for buff chick

5. You're ecstatic when you find a parking spot right outside of your dorm

6. Actually driving 25 MPH on College Ave is impossible

7. Leasing day at the Ave is like the hunger games

8. You've probably seen someone get UVAC'd

9. And you've probably seen someone drive on the mall

10. And you probably pictured retail outlets the first time someone mentioned said mall

11. You've learned to accept that you'll never change your Mainestreet password on time

12. You need to have more girl friends than guys in order to get into parties

13. You own a pair of Bean Boots

14. If you get stir fry at the dining hall, your friends will be done eating by the time your food is ready

15. Your MaineCard is a part of you

16. You know to hold your breath while putting your dishes away at Wells

17. You've almost been hit by someone on a bike or a skateboard

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
