25 Reasons To Thank "She's the Man"

We all have that one movie that we can't go more than a few months without watching. Something about the film, its characters, or its plot, has touched your heart in a way no movie ever has before. For many of us, that movie is "She's the Man," the 2006 film featuring Amanda Bynes and Channing Tatum. From its soundtrack, to its hilariously quotable moments, that movie never leaves anyone dissatisfied. Even though it's fun to watch, you probably never realize how much it's taught you a lot about life, and how to handle it. So, here's all the things you forgot to thank that wonderful movie for:

1. You can relate it to practically any moment in your life and any situation that happens in your everyday life. Let's face it: almost every scene is a quotable moment.

2. It taught you how to compliment someone.

3. You now know how to get excited over the simple things in life.

4. You learned it's okay to be unashamed of your intelligence.

5. You probably tried to go out and play soccer after seeing it for the first time. And probably failed and ended up looking like Amanda Bynes dancing on Vinny Jones.

6. You now, unabashedly, appreciate male figures, like Channing Tatum's.

7. It taught you to properly express your feelings.

8. You realize you have a friend who is exactly like Kia, and you love it.

9. It gave you the best line for dumping someone:

"WE'RE DONE!"

10. You learned how to flirt from this scene:

11. It made you think kissing booths were a good idea:

12. It gave you a great excuse to get out of gym class:

13.. You realized that no secret you have ever needed to keep would be as bad as Viola’s.

14. It taught you to unashamedly love your passions:

15. It taught you how to handle getting caught talking to people you're not supposed to.

"Were you just talking to your brother?"

"What? No. Yes. He's at dad's. Bye, dad!"

16. It taught you some of the best come-backs.

17. You know we all wanted to be Amanda Bynes in this scene:

18. You learned how to react to anything Channing Tatum does.

19. You now know why heels were invented.

20. Song is always an appropriate way to express your feelings...?

21. You learned tampons are more versatile than you ever imagined!

22. It helped you realize that it's alright to be a know-it-all.

23. It showed you how (or maybe how not) to fight...

24. It gave you your first introduction to what a cougar is.

25. It taught you that breakfast was the most important meal of the day

Thank you, She's the Man, for wisdom beyond our years!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
