24 Signs You Are Addicted To Your iPhone
The Huffington Post
  1. You check your iPhone every five minutes to see if you have any new notifications.
  2. If you have any notifications, you read them immediately.
  3. And if you don’t have any notifications, you become a little disappointed. #sigh
  4. You usually answer every text within seconds of receiving it.
  5. And your friends worry when you don’t answer their messages right away—they assume that you are either driving, in the shower, taking an exam, or sleeping.
  6. The only time that your iPhone is turned off is when you are on an airplane. Can we talk about #FOMO?
  7. You always have a charger or Mophie on hand, because god forbid your battery goes below 20%.
  8. You sleep with your iPhone right next to you just incase someone needs you at 2:00 am. #SOS
  9. The first thing you do in the morning is check Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, and Facebook because you have to catch up on everything that you missed while sleeping.
  10. You are usually the first like on your friends photos.
  11. Your friends know that when you are texting, you cannot focus on anything else because you do not know how to multitask.
  12. You hyperventilate at the thought of having a cracked screen.
  13. If you forget your iPhone at home, you feel as if you are missing a part of your body and your anxiety levels soar through the roof.
  14. When driving, you secretly pray for every green light to turn red so you can check your phone.
  15. You text your mom to tell her your plans because you are too lazy to get up and walk ten steps to her room to tell her in person.
  16. People can always count on you to document everything with photos.
  17. Nothing is worse than getting that text saying you have used 75% of your data for the month. Especially when you have two weeks until your new data cycle starts again.
  18. You read old texts when you are bored.
  19. And you hate deleting old text messages and old photos.
  20. You get way too much satisfaction out of the act of closing your apps by "swiping up".
  21. You make fun of your friends when they do not know how to do certain things on their phones, and tell them they are technologically challenged.
  22. You freak out when you “lose” your iPhone, but then realize you were holding it the whole time.
  23. This happens at least 2 times a week.
  24. And your favorite apps include Find My iPhone and Find My Friends, just incase you actually lose your iPhone and need to track it down after a ~crazy~ night out.

If you can relate to any of these things, you are most definitely addicted to your iPhone. Congratulations, and welcome to the club! #iPhoneAddictsAnonymous

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
