4. After spending hours scouring Amazon and back to school shopping.

5. When you move into housing and realize your room is so much smaller than in the pictures.

6. When someone tries to start beef the week before classes begin.

7. When you can't help but think, "Where did the summer go?"

8. When you start the semester thinking, "New year, new me," and then prioritize food over friends.

9. When you give yourself that pep talk before the first week of school.

10. When someone jokes about feeling like they "just saw you yesterday."

11. When you attempt to be pleasant and get through the first week smoothly.

12. When you see people in the library after the first day of classes.

13. When someone asks if you have the textbook yet.

14. When it's the first day of classes.

15. When you're running late for your 8 a.m.

16. When you attend your first discussion-based class.

17. When you go out with your friends the first weekend.

18. When you have 8 a.m. classes and see your friends talking about their evening classes.

19. When you force yourself to stay in the library for over four hours for the first time in the semester.

20. When it's the first Saturday of the semester.

21. When you do well on your first exam.

22. And even though seeing all the syllabi and your schedule for the upcoming semester makes you feel overwhelmed...

As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.
