Disney is so much more than a company; it’s a way of life. Some of us just enjoy it as kids and move on, but others can’t seem to let it go. It’s more than just watching the movies, too. Disney invades every part of your life.

If you’re a diehard Disney fan, you can relate to these signs.

1. Nothing fills your heart with joy quite like the opening credits to a Disney movie.

It means that you’re about to start 90 minutes of pure happiness.

2. At least half of your wardrobe has Disney quotes or characters.

Do you need another t-shirt? No, but it has a picture of Belle on it. How can you say no?

3. To you, a movie night is a Disney movie night.

It’s a chance to rewatch your favorites and live in nostalgia.

4. You get tired of people telling you you’re too old for Disney.

Disney movies make you happy. And who says no to happiness?

5. All of your free time is devoted to playing Disney trivia quizzes.

If someone were to name a movie, you could probably state five facts about it that no normal person would know.

6. When someone criticizes Disney, you’ll defend it to the death.

How dare they insult your love.

7. Going to Disneyland or Disney World has been on your bucket list for years.

It doesn’t matter if you have kids or not. The moment you can, you will go to the Happiest Place on Earth.

8. You’ve seen all the movies at least fifteen times.

And can probably recite most of them as well.

9. Even though every movie is magical, there is one that holds your heart.

For me, it’s probably Beauty and the Beast.

10. And there is one particular character you have a soft spot for.

You look up to them as if they are a real-life role model.

11. You work Disney references into regular conversation as often as you can.

You eat spaghetti with a dinglehopper. Speaking of spaghetti, what about that precious scene in Lady and the Tramp?

12. Your go-to song is a Disney song.

There’s always a Disney song in your heart.

13. You have a definitive list of the Disney movies in order of greatness.

Just in case anyone would ask.

14. You also have a list of underrated Disney movies.

Lady and the Tramp, Sleeping Beauty, and The Aristocats, just to name a few.

15. You have already, or plan to, name a pet or child after a Disney character.

I personally plan on naming my future cat either Figaro (from Pinnochio) or Marie, Berlioz, or Toulouse (from The Aristocats).

16. All of your calendar alerts are for future releases of new Disney movies.

You couldn’t be more excited for "The Incredibles 2" or "Toy Story 4."

17. You follow every official Disney account on every social media platform.

It’s essential to have the latest scoop on all things Disney.

18. You know which movie will be coming out of–or going into–the Disney Vault next.

You even made a chart to keep track of these important dates.

19. You wish that woodland creatures would help you clean your house.

Only then could you properly whistle while you work.

20. You make this face whenever someone says "Anastasia" is their favorite Disney princess.

Fact: it has NEVER been a Disney movie, so stop saying it is!

21. Or that "Frozen" is their favorite Disney movie.

Another Fact: it’s not THAT good.

22. Your longest Spotify playlist is only Disney songs.

Mine is 3 hours, 46 minutes of pure Disney bliss.

23. You know that no matter what, you’ll never change.

Disney has always been, and always will be, one of your dearest loves.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
