There's so much to learn from the brilliant Amy Poehler. From hilarious comebacks to wise life advice, she always knows what to say. Whether it's Leslie Knope, Angie, the cool mom or Amy herself giving the pointers, it's all good stuff. Have a laugh at some of her quotes while taking everything she says to heart and applying it to your own life. It's for your own good.
1. Take risks.
A life without risks sounds kind of boring when you think about it.
2. Have good comebacks.
Nice one.
3. Be an inspiration.
There's no shame in that.
4. Apologize and admit your mistakes.
It takes a lot to confess when you're wrong, but everyone (and every purse) is better off when you do.

It makes sense.
6. Be the cool mom.
Provide snacks and whatever else might be needed.
7. Be silly.
That's a relief, because I'm already there.
8. Stand firm in what you believe in.
Some people just aren't made to enjoy salad.
9. Dance without being embarrassed.
This is good news to anyone.
10. Don't be afraid to ask for help.
Even Leslie Knope isn't always all right.
11. Have confidence.
A.K.A. fake it 'til you make it.
12. Put your friends first.
13. Don't be afraid to be "too much."
Because that's what is going to get the job done.
14. Have fun, because:
True.
15. Remember what's important in life ...
... whatever that may be to you.
16. Compliment people.
There's no compliment like a Leslie compliment.
17. Don't be afraid to try bizarre outfits.
18. But, also, dress to impress.
Personally, I dress to impress myself.
19. Love yourself the way you are.
Well put.
20. Be conscious of who you surround yourself with.
Seems simple enough.
21. Stay optimistic.
You can turn everything around to be better than it seems.
22. Know that you can do anything you're willing to work for.
The working for it is the hard part.
23. Do, do, do!
If all you did was live by Amy's many quotes, I'd say you'd be pretty well-off. Everyone should watch her hilarious shows and movies like "Parks and Recreation," "Baby Mama," "Sisters," "SNL," "Blades of Glory," "Inside Out," and "Mean Girls" to get more hilarious but meaningful life advice. She even has her own book called "Yes, Please," so there's plenty of Amy to go around. Girls need to see that being smart is underrated. Amy has so many opinions on so many different topics and they're all great for young girls looking for a role model. I know at least one person that looks up to her.
Knope out. *drops mic*
