22 Things We Forget To Thank Our Best Friends For

1. For pointing me in the right direction when it came to my first Netflix series.
2. For letting me borrow that $10 for lunch four years ago that I probably never paid back.
3. For telling me that my outfit did not look good, even though I thought otherwise.
4. For making me put sunscreen on at the beach.
5. For staying up late and listening to all of my problems.
6. For holding my hand when I watched the ending of "The Notebook" for the first time.
7. For letting me sleep over when I was in a fight with my siblings.
8. For covering for me when you snuck off with a boy.
9. For picking me up for school every day even though you were almost always late.
10. For picking up the pieces after my boyfriend broke my heart.
11. For telling me over and over again not to go back to him and still loving me when I did.
12. For listening to the same story and not cutting you off with “I told you so.”
13. For making the “I told you sos” less bitter than they had to be.
14. For screaming all of the lyrics to Taylor Swift songs in the car with me.
15. For always agreeing to go to Chipotle for lunch because she knows it’s my favorite.
16. For lending an outfit and not expecting it back any time soon.
17. For answering the phone at 3 a.m.
18. For picking me up when I desperately needed a ride.
19. For screens hotting my Snapchats after I got my wisdom teeth out.
20. For understanding what I'm saying even when I don’t say anything.
21. For going out to breakfast with me when I'm still dressed in your outfit from the night before.
22. For never leaving my side.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
