Well summers here and love is in the air I guess.. for some people at least.

I don't know what it is about this age but it seems to be the age of engagement and marriage pictures all over every social media platform. Now I know I'm not the only single person who has noticed this. So if you're single like me and having to suffer through seeing yet another ecstatic girl posing with her left hand showing off that rock of a diamond with her perfect little fiancé in the background, you've probably said some of these things before...

1. Really? Another engagement?

2. Wasn't he/she single like last week?

3. I can't even afford a footlong from Subway, how the hell did he buy that ring?

4. Damnit.. I'm gonna get invited to that wedding.

5. Wow, he had a band playing in the background when he proposed... how. freaking. cute.

6. You mean they made it? And we couldn't???

7. I really hope they don't invite me.

8. Crap okay time to get my life together.

9. I need to call my mom.

10. I knew she only went to college for her MRS degree

11. Okay, time to block them before the actual wedding pictures show up.

12. I knew I should have replied when he tried sliding into my DMs.

13. Okay, they already got a dog together.. do they have to keep rubbing their happiness in?

14. Stop. Be happy for them. They're happy.

15. I'm just gonna go get some ice cream by myself now.

16. I don't even wanna get married, I like my independence.

17. But it would be nice to have a guy to take the trash out...

18. I'm gonna stop by insomnia cookies on my way home from getting ice cream.

19. I'm just gonna delete my social media. I don't need validation from these people I don't even know.

20. Just kidding.. what would I do when I'm bored at work then?

21. I'll just log off for a week or so
