There are so many good movies involving athletes and their chosen sports. These are a few of my favorites!

22. The Greatest Game Ever Played

Who doesn't want to see Shia LaBeouf, most well known for his role in the action franchise Transformers, play golf?

21. Mighty Ducks

A group of kids playing hockey led by Emilio Estevez in the early 1990s? Yes please!

20. Go Figure

Though the acting is comically horrible, the plot is still engaging. I mean, the story of a female figure skater becoming an ice hockey player has got to be interesting.

19. Rocky Franchise

This movie series about a working-class boxer from Philadelphia is one of the more well known sports films, that doesn't mean it isn't great!

18. Air Bud Franchise

A dog playing sports! Everybody loves man's best friend, dogs are even better when they are kicking butt playing sports.

17. Double Teamed

No, it is not a sexual movie but super tall twin girls playing basketball makes for a surprisingly interesting story.

16. Happy Gilmore

Adam Sandler, Jewish funnyman, plays golf... sort of.

15. Dodgeball

A comedy meets the pinnacle of high school gym games.

14. Moneyball

A new type of baseball team is born, formed based solely on statistics.

13. Angels in the Outfield

Angels provide supernatural help for a baseball team in trouble.

12. Sandlot Franchise

The story of children playing baseball on a neighborhood field.

11. Rookie of the Year

After an injury to his arm, a young child becomes able to throw incredibly fast baseballs and joins a professional team.

10. Gracie

A teenage girl challenges gender norms in order to play the sport she loves, soccer.

9. Gridiron Gang

A group of juvenile delinquents play football, led by Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson.

8. We Are Marshall

In the wake of a tragedy, a football team rebuilds itself.

7. Bend it Like Beckham

A young woman challenges her family in the effort to play soccer, a sport she loves.

6. Invincible

A long shot Eagles fan tries out and makes the professional football team.

5. The Blindside

A football-eccentric white family takes in an impoverished black teenager and teaches him to play football.

4. A League of Their Own

Women during WWII are finally given the opportunity to play baseball while the men are deployed.

3. Little Giants

An age old rivalry between brothers leads them to build football teams to coach in competition with each other.

2. Remember the Titans

In the wake of desegregation, this story follows the integration of a football team in the south.

1. Invictus

A magificient movie about South-African politics and the popular game of rugby.

There are so many amazing sports movies out there. These are the best of the best that I have seen.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
