As another trip around the sun has ended, that only means another one has begun! Now that I’ve cleared the hump of the teenage years, nearly halfway through college, it’s time do some cool stuff! But along with that hump comes doing some “adult” stuff to prepare for when you no longer can swipe a little card and get access to an unlimited amount of food. So here it is, 21 things to do before you turn 21:

1. Road trip with your friends

2. Travel abroad

3. Have a real job

4. Be able to cook a signature dish

5. Not screw up a load of laundry

6. Run a race

7. Go on a service trip

8. Meet someone famous

9. Have a day where you do absolutely nothing

10. Steal a street sign

11. Skinny dip

12. Eat an entire tub of ice cream in one sitting

13. Pull an all-nighter just for fun

14. Start a Roth IRA

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
