Last week I talked about what makes my little sister happy, and now it's time to write about what makes me happy. Enjoy!

1.) Blankets.

Blankets are such a great thing. There's no better feeling than coming home from a long day and curling up with a good blanket!

2.) Writing.

Writing is a great stress reliever and a good way to let emotions out.

3.) Going for drives.

There's nothing like going for a drive and jamming to songs to clear my mind for a while!

4.) Learning.

I absolutely love to learn. I will never know enough!

5.) My ukulele.

Playing my ukulele is a great escape from reality from me, and I love to learn new songs and belt them out as well!

6.) Netflix.

There are so many good shows and movies that I can cuddle up and watch!

7.) Reading.

I wish I had more time to read for enjoyment. I absolutely love it.

8.) Nature.

I love being outside, especially near water. It's relaxing and calms me down.

9.) Football.

I've been watching football since I was a little kid, and it has always been such a big part of my life.

10.) Music.

Music in general just makes me happy. Listening to it, playing my ukulele, singing songs, whatever. I enjoy it all.

11.) Travelling.

I want to go all over the world. I find something beautiful at each spot that I visit.

12.) Clothes.

I use clothes to express how I'm feeling, and so I have many different styles that I love to mix and match.

13.) Dancing.

I may not be the best at it, but I always have a good laugh at myself and enjoy it.

14.) Ice cream.

There's nothing more satisfying than a nice bowl of chocolate ice cream, and maybe with some raspberries.

15.) Dogs.

Yes, I am one of those girls that has to let everyone know when I see a dog.

16.) Babies.

Yes, I am also one of those girls who has to let everyone know when I see a super cute baby.

17.) Games.

These can be card games, board games, or games at Dave and Busters. I love them all, but I get a little too competitive sometimes.

18.) My mental toughness.

I have been through a lot through the past 21 years, and sometimes when I look back at what I have been through, I feel this sense of pride in myself.

19.) Laughs.

I love to hear people laugh. To me, it's the best sound in the world.

20.) My friends.

I wouldn't say I have a lot of friends, but I have a good group that I can count on and who I always have a good time with.

21.) My family.

Because what's more important than family?

There you have it, just some of the many things that make me happy.

All my love,

Kamille

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
