- My Dog/Best Friend Mambo: To anyone who knows me, this one is a given. Since sixth grade, she’s been my constant companion who always knows how to cheer me up. I’m thankful that every time I come home from school, or even just Dunks, she’s there to greet me.
- My L.L. Bean Moccasins: Last Christmas, Santa surprised me with a pair of red, L.L Bean Moccasins and boy have these changed my life. They’re perfect to wear around the house and down to the dining hall. Lifetime warranty too!
- 25 Days of Christmas: I LOVE THANKSGIVING! But after the food and football ends, I’m always excited that it's finally Christmas season. And what better way to celebrate than 25 days full of never-ending holiday cheer (and "Elf!").
- What’s Brewin: Someday this place will get its own article, but for now it's just a mention on my list. To my favorite coffee shop/second home, thank you for hosting me in my best times and my worst times.
- Lighthouse: Maybe my favorite place in the whole wide world, the lighthouse in Beverly that looks over the stunning harbor of the Atlantic Ocean. How many times have I sat here, alone and with friends, telling secrets or just embracing the beauty of our backyard.
- Beverly: You can take the girl out of Beverly, but you can’t take the Bev out of the girl. Thankful to be from the best city on the Northshore.
- Bev Rec: To my summer family, thank you for paying me to dress like X-Ray from "Holes," "Mulan" and pour my heart and soul into Lip Sync. Also, thank you for being some of my best and lifelong friends.
- Potatoes: Where would I be without potatoes? Nowhere. I owe all my goodness to them.
- Middle School Friends: Ah, the Empty Barrels. After going to school with you all from kindergarten to eighth grade, we quite literally grew up together. Still, today you guys are my oldest friends I’m grateful to still be close to.
- High School Friends: Wow. Thank you to you guys for putting up with me constantly. I’m so glad I have a group of friends that always Feeds the Hungry and understand the importance of LP’s Navel. God Bless.
- College Friends: To the Gang, Fams and everyone else, I didn’t think I could find people I loved as much as my high school friends, but you guys proved me wrong. I’m so thankful to lean on you guys, for our late night acoustic concerts and people watching in Kimball with me. You guys rock my socks.
- Track Team: Let’s be honest, the transition to college kinda sucks. But having a group of girls who all through it to guide you and give advice is exactly what I needed. And once I got settled, I had a new group of crazy and awesome people to have fun with.
- Coffee: Similar to potatoes, where would I be without coffee? Probably dead somewhere. Thank you Dunks, Starbucks and yes, even CB2, for being my lifeline.
- Neil: This boy. My first real love. My black, 2004 GMC Sierra. We’ve been through some good times, been through some bad times but most importantly, we’ve been through them together.
- High School Coaches: Simply put, I would not be where I am today without the lessons, support and guidance from the lovely ladies who took me from being an annoying freshman to an even more annoying senior. Through the countless wins, losses and sprints until I wanted to puke, you built my character and courage.
- Cousins: Every day I realize how lucky I am to have so many hilarious cousins that live close to me. I never laugh harder than I do with these guys, and family parties are always my favorite.
- Henry: My friends used to always make fun of me for never having emotion. This little guy, my perfect nephew who will be eight months Dec. 8, changed that. His smile is one to die for and his giggle can brighten any day.
18. Boston Sports Teams: Red Sox. Bruins. Pats. Celtics. In your ups and downs, I’m grateful for the local pride you give us everyday.
19. Tom Brady: Come on. You had to know this was coming. He’s beauty, he’s grace, he’s everything you could want in this world. Those piercing blue eyes and four Superbowl rings. Damn. “You don’t need #1 when you have #199.”
20. Parents: Big T and Jules. Thank you. Thank you for laughing at my not funny jokes, and calming me down when I’m mid freakout. Especially thank you for being the best nurses when I was home last week with mono. You guys set the bar exceptionally high.
21. Faith: I am so beyond grateful to have the privilege to be able to have faith in God. My parents raised us Catholic but then gave us the option to continue our faith. I’m so thankful they gave me this opportunity, and I’m thankful to go to a school that allows me to deepen this relationship.
Happy Thanksgiving!!!
