21 Struggles Every Creighton Student Understands

1. Kiewit flooding at least once a year.

2. You had to spend the first week as a freshman at Welcome Week events when you just want to sleep (S/O to WW Leaders though, you guys rock).

3. You slip on the bricks and falling on your butt when walking to class in the rain or snow.

4. You pay $40,000 a year, but your Wi-Fi doesn't work.

5. Your core curriculum changed after your first year of classes.

6. You have to walk up four flights of stairs in Creighton Hall.

7. You're not sure if you're in Criss or Hixon-Lied.


8. You spending hours finding a classroom to study in during dead week and finals.

9. When you get stuck behind a slow walker when you need to run from Humanities to Harper in 10 minutes.

10. When you can't find a parking space.


11. When you get the worst possible registration time for classes.

12. You have to get overrides for 3/4 of your classes.

13. When you get written up for being too loud.

14. When you realize the school doesn't have a football team.

15. When you live in Kenefick, and all your classes are in Eppley.


16. The only thing edible in the cafeteria is the cereal because Sodexo.

17. Someone taking your usual study area in the library during finals week.

18. When it's 90+ degrees outside and 60 degrees in your classroom.

19. Did I mention the terrible Wi-Fi?

20. When there's a line out the door for Premium Nights in Brandeis and big cookies in Skutt.

21. "Where is Creighton?" "It's in Omaha." "Where is Omaha?"
