It's tragic, really. You finally meet someone that is good-looking, charismatic, funny, and actually maintains your interest, only to find out after a few weeks of wasted time that his intentions were never to win over your heart but rather to slowly and carefully manipulate you into giving in to his underlying motive ... to get into your pants. It seems that, unfortunately, I'm initially drawn to this type of boy (like many girls are) until I realize his actual goals. It's almost an ego thing. You think that you will be so different and so amazing that you'll make him change his ways for you. News flash: you won't. So you might as well be aware of the tell-tale signs that he isn't interested in you as a person before you end up with hurt feelings and a huge chunk of wasted time.

1. He never asks to hang out in public.

2. He calls you "babe" two days after meeting.

3. He always has his phone on him but takes nine hours to respond to your text.

4. He asks for nudes.

5. He only wants to hang out after 11:00 p.m.

6. When you mention a relationship, he says he "just isn't ready" or that "titles don't make it real."

7. He claims that every girl from his past was a psycho or slut or psycho-slut.

8. Whenever you glance at his phone, he has messages from other girls.

9. He legitimately uses Tinder.

10. He tweets things like "I only need myself."

11. He constantly talks about how good he is with women.

12. He's never wrong about anything.

13. When he messes up, he finds a way to twist the story so that he is the victim.

14. Every other text he sends is "What's up?"

15. He's overly touchy when you hang out.

16. He compliments your body parts more than anything else.

17. He brings up how long he's been single and how high his standards are all the time.

18. His friends openly admit that he's a douche.

19. He keeps a list of the girls he's been with.

20. He will feed you his best lines of BS to keep you around as an option without ever having to commit.

21. When you finally decide you're done with him, he won't apologize for any of his actions because "you knew from the beginning that things weren't serious."
