Do you push yourself to achieve a goal? Do you constantly find yourself correcting things to make it perfect? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you might be a perfectionist.

What is a perfectionist you might ask?

A perfectionist is a person who refuses to accept any standard short of perfection. A perfectionist is one who also demands perfection of himself, herself or others.

I consider myself to be perfectionist. In fact, writing this article has made me realize that I am perfectionist. I have reread this article numerous times just so I can make it perfect.

Being a perfectionist has its benefits, you make sure your work is done right and you get the job done. However, the process of completing these tasks can become stressful because you put a great deal of pressure on yourself.

Ever wondered if you might be a perfectionist, here is a list to determine for yourself.

1. You set high goals for yourself

2. Everything must be perfect

3. Any mistake must be fixed and corrected

4. Tasks must be done in a specific way

5. You are exceptionally hard on yourself

6. If the end results of a project is perfect, everything in between doesn’t matter

7. You became upset when your goals don’t get reached

8. You can never have too much success

9. You procrastinate to do things at the right moment

10. If there is a chance, you will take your time to perfect something

11. You get upset over the little things

12. You worry about your previous mistakes

13. Everything must have a purpose

14. You continue to work on something even when it’s completed

15. Nothing can be wrong, everything must be right

16. You harshly judge and criticize yourself

17. You notice anything and everything that it out of place

18. You are extremely organized

19. You are eager to please everyone

20. You must be the best

21. You are afraid of failure
