21 Reasons The Office Is Life

As a current Netflix binge watcher of The Office, I began to notice how the show had many similarities to life. Although the show takes place in an actual office for the most part, the shenanigans that go on in that office resemble the actions and feelings of people in every day life. Each character's witty lines and ridiculous actions let you know that you're not alone in this world. Here's 21 reasons why The Office is #relatable.

1. Sometimes you just can't deal with certain people.

2. When someone tries to tell you that you're less than what you know you are.

3. Sometimes things just don't go your way.

4. When you're super worried about something, but trying to play it off as nothing.

5. Your goals for the future may be a little out there at times.

6. When you're feeling down and you just don't know why.

7. When you have very little patience left.

8. Seeing someone who infuriates you.

9. When you go out on a school night.

10. When you just can't even anymore.

11. When you're a die hard fan of multiple groups.

12. When someone is making you mad so you just have to lay down the law.

14. When you're just trying to keep the positivity alive.

15. After getting a good grade on an assignment.

16. When someone makes a bad suggestion.

17. Just not even trying to hide the fact that you don't like someone.

18. When everyone is going out and trying to do things that cost money and you're just sitting there like...

19. When someone judges what you're eating.

20. When your family won't stop asking if you have a boyfriend yet.

21. Finally, when something good finally happens to you.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
