Let's face it. We all need a little inspiration sometimes, and when you see those quote pictures on Facebook or Instagram, you just feel a little better knowing that someone else is struggling just as much as you. Don't worry, there are plenty twenty-something-year-olds who need help too; here are just a few quotes for all of us to help get us through the "best years" of our lives.

1. "Don't let your mistakes define you."

Speaks for itself, however, this is my favorite one; whether it is failing a class or ruining a relationship, don't let it be the end of you trying.

2. "Know when to give up."

At the same time, know when it is time to move onto something else.

3. "It is not the years of your life, but the life in your years."

Don't forget to live a little when you're cramming for the biology final; take the time to smell the roses and the radiating scent of stress from your typical college student. (Day 2 no shower and coffee.)

4. "Never grow up."

Don't forget you can still act like a kid.

5. "You're not supposed to have your life figured out."

See caption on #4.

6. "Know your standards and settle for nothing less."

In your classes, relationships, friendships, etc.

7. "Let your light shine before others."

My personal favorite; don't forget to show your achievements with pride, without becoming a narcissistic asshole.

8. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

The Golden Rule

9. "The unexamined life is not one worth living."

In other words, leave no stone unturned. (Thank Socrates for this one.)

10. "Give your life to God, and he will do the rest."

He has it all figured out, and He will work it out for you.

11. "Do not go forward blindly, make a path for yourself."

Make some plans and research your decisions. No, they will not always go as planned.

12. "Be yourself."

There is only one you, so be that.

13. "Live a little."

See #3.

14. "Be the change you wish to see in the world."

Do what you can to make the world the better place you want to see.

15. "Forgive, and forget."

Do not hold onto grudges; they cause nothing except pain.

16. "Do better next time."

Didn't do so hot on that biology final I mentioned? Have to retake the class? Pass it next semester.

17. "All great deeds and all great thoughts have a ridiculous beginning."

Just because it sounds crazy to someone else, does not mean that it won't work.

18. "To be good, and do good, is the whole duty of man comprised in a few words.”

In the words of Abigail Adams, be a good person and do good deeds where you can.

19. “Most people need love and acceptance a lot more than they need advice.”

20. " Don't be a dick."

Self-explanatory, yet again.

21. "Don't be afraid to discover yourself, and rediscover yourself continuously. We are ever changing, and you need to make time for yourself."

An original.

We all need a little inspiration; whether or not these quotes are actually inspiring is up to you, but some of them may come in handy if you need them.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
