21 Questions I Would Like To Ask My Dog

My most mysterious family member

21 Questions I Would Like To Ask My Dog

I think the most mysterious being that I know would have to be my dog. I live with him, he is part of my family, I see him just about every day, but I don't know him at all. I don't know what he is ever thinking. Does he actually like me when he licks my hand ? Or is he plotting how he is going to try to eat me later on in life? I don't know and I don't think I'll even know until I find myself resting in his stomach one day. My dog is my furry brother in a way, but I have so many questions for him. These are just a few:

1. What do you do when we are not home?

The age old question.

2. What is it like eating the same exact thing for every meal?

3.Why do you always look like you want to murder me?

I do nothing but love you, can't you at least smile?

4. Why must you always leave my room when I pull out my guitar?

5. Do you breathe heavily in my face to try to get me to pass out?

That breath can kill a whole army.

6. Does it actually scare you when I talk in that high pitched "talk to your dog" voice?

7. Why don't you like it when I lock you in my room and force you to sleep in my bed?

Love me, please.

8. Do those dead worms on the side walk actually taste good, or are you really that starving?

9. How does it feel to be spoiled more than most children in the world?

I am jealous that you are the favorite child.

10. Must you look everywhere but my camera?

11. What is your deepest darkest secret?

Did you get into the cat treats?

12. Do you actually feel like you had a wardrobe change when we change your collar?

13. Must you drink your water so loudly?

It's like you are drinking into a microphone.

14. Why do you love my mom more than anyone else, are like all of you trained to do that or something?

15. Why must you sniff every blade of grass?

I can assure you they all smell the same.

16. I pick up your poop, can't you just clean my room in return?

17. Are you ok with being seen on social media, because you are my Snapchat story 24/7?

Can I see your pictures? Sure let me just delete a few (400 of my dog)

18. Can you teleport or something, because you were just downstairs and now you are in the upstairs hallway?

19. Why are you prettier than me?

My dog has natural highlights, and I don't, what is life?

20. Do you even know how lucky you are that you don't have to go to school?

21. Do you even know who I am?

It's OK, I'm just the one who loves on you, kisses you, and rubs your tummy every day, but you could care less about who I am.

So there are several questions I think we would all like to ask our furry friends. We love them so much, yet we cannot fully communicate with them like we wish we could. Just to go a day where I could read my dog's mind would be so satisfying- on second thought, based on some of the looks he gives me, that could just be the worst day of my whole entire life. We may be better off not knowing what our pets are thinking all of the time. In fact, when you think about it, part of what makes your relationship with your pet so much fun is trying to figure out exactly who they are and what they are thinking.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
