Being a 20 something is great. You're learning and growing, and you have freedom and fun. But it's also hard. You have to learn how to cook and clean and take care of yourself out there in the real world. Sometimes, it's hard to remember to keep your head up when you're stressed from college or work or life, so here's 21 pieces of advice for a 20 something like me.
1. You're only 20 something.
It's okay that you haven't taken over the world yet, if you're working on it, that's a good first step.
2. Now is the time to work hard.
Don't be lazy, don't hit snooze, don't put it off until tomorrow. Your hard work will not go unnoticed, and it will pay off in the long run.
3. Learn to cook.
Cooking is not only satisfying, but it's oddly relaxing. Plus. you'll save tons of money and eat healthier too.
4. Take a class that interests you, even if it's not related to your major.
Your major is really important, but that doesn't mean you can't have other interests. If you want to take a ceramics class, what's stopping you?
5. Wash your sheets often.
Because there is nothing more calming than climbing into bed to freshly washed and tucked sheets.
6. Go to the gym.
Your body will thank you and you'll work off some of that stress life is making you feel.
7. Find an activity that keeps you balanced.
8. Stockpile motivational quotes.
Sometimes, setting one as your lock screen gives your day a whole new motive every time you look.
9. Be present in class.
If you're on Facebook the whole time, what's the point of even going?
10. Don't wait until the last minute.
That's self-explanatory
11. Pack snacks for class and work.
That way, you aren't starving
12. Make time to watch movies you love.

13. Develop a nightly skin regiment.
Because healthy skin looks good and feels good
14. Invest in comfortable and cute gym clothes.
Because they make you look good AND they motivate you to work out.
15. Apply for the dream internship.
What's the worst that could happen?
16. Update your resume frequently.
And do activities you can add to it.
17. Keep a blog or a journal.
So you can keep track of where you've been and where you'll go.
18. Make time to play with puppies.
Puppies > everything.
19. Tell people you love how much you care about them.
20. Life is short, order the pizza.
No regrets.
21. Let the little things go.
Be your best self and don't let anything hold you back.
