Some say that being the middle child is boring and some say that being the middle child sucks. But in reality, being the middle child is a blessing in disguise. Whether you have 2 siblings or 4 siblings, you know the pros and cons of being the middle child. However, there are way more perks to being a middle child than you think.

1. You're an independent thinker.

2. You are creative.

3. You're a fighter.

4. You have thick skin.

5. You never had to deal with "you have to do it because you're the youngest."

6. Or "you're the oldest, you should know better."

7. You tend to be the mediator.

8. But, sometimes you get ganged up on.

9. You can entertain yourself easily.

10. You can get yourself out of every sticky situation.

11. No one noticed when you snuck out of the house.

12. You have an older sibling to steal clothes from.

13. You have a younger sibling to harass.

14. You have an older sibling to go to for advice.

15. You have a younger sibling that looks up to you.

16. You often exceed the expectations.

17. You know what they say – the middle child is the parent's favorite.

18. You can easily fly under the radar.

19. You get to be front and center in family pictures.

20. There is a day dedicated to you.
