Halloween is one of my favorite times of year. There's a chill in the air and a spooky feel all around. Ready to get your scare on? Here my 21 favorite Halloween movies of all time. They are in no specific order. Some are so horrifying they'll keep you up at night others are for people of all ages. Ready to get in the Halloween spirit? Grab some candy corn and watch a few of these classics:

1. "Halloweentown" (1998)

This Disney classes and it's sequels are the perfect Halloween movies for children of all ages. Three siblings who are forbidden from celebrating Halloween decide to run away with their grandma who turns out to be a witch from a town dedicated to all things Halloween!

2. "Beetlejuice" (1988)

This humorous horror movie follows the story of a couple who died in a car crash and are forced to stay in their house for 150 years. After a couple they aren't too fond of end up moving in, they hire a man called "Beetlejuice" to scare them away.

3. "Halloween" (1978)

This horrifying film follows the story of a Michael Myers who at a young age killed his brother and sister and ended up being institutionalized. After escaping he begins stalking with intentions to kill.

4. "The Addam's Family" (1991)

A man poses as the long lost uncle of this creepy family in order to steal their money.

5. "The Nightmare Before Christmas"

This in this multi-holiday cartoon Jack Skellington who is the king of Halloween Town finds himself in a town filled with all things Christmas.

6. "The Little Vampire" (2010)

This family friendly movie is about a young, lonely boy who befriends a vampire. Together they journey to search for a magic amulet that could change him and his vampire family back into humans.

7. "Children of the Corn" (1984)

In this frightening thriller, a young couple finds themselves stranded in a remote town surrounded by a religious cult of children out to kill all adults.

8. "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" (1966)

How can you get through a holiday without watching a Peanut's movie? In this classic, the peanut's clan celebrates Halloween and Linus introduces them to the great pumpkin!

9. "The Amityville Horror" (1979)

This terrifying movie follows the story of a young couple who move into a large house where a mass murder was once committed. They start experience strange happenings that could possibly drive them away.

10. "Hocus Pocus" (1993)

This amazing Halloween movie is about 3 witches who are resurrected in Salem after centuries. Two teenagers, a young girl, and an immortal cat find themselves trying to stop these witches once and for all.

11. "Friday the 13th" (1980)

This disturbing movie is about a group of camp counselors who attempt to reopen a summer camp where a child once drowned. They find themselves being stalked and killed by an unknown killer.

12. "Ghostbusters" (1984)

Who you gonna call? GHOSTBUSTERS! When four psychology professors start their own ghost hunting business lots of crazy things happen.

13. "The Corps Bride" (2005)

In this Tim Burton classic, an introverted young man thinks he's alone practicing his wedding vows. It turns out he's not and a young dead girl believes she is married to him.

14. "Poltergeist" (1982)

After a family is haunted by ghosts in their home, they find their youngest daughter kidnapped and taken to an unknown world.

15. "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" (1974)

A pair of siblings go to Texas to visit their grandfather's grave. Along the way, they have an unexpected encounter with a family of psychotic cannibals.

16. "A Nightmare on Elm Street" (1984)

A serial killer hunts down people in their dreams. The survivors try to figure out why they were targeted. Meanwhile, the killer continues to plot murder while they sleep.

17. "Casper" (1995)

A paranormal hunter and his daughter move into an abandoned house haunted by ghosts. Three are mischievous but one is actually very friendly.

18. "Jeepers Creepers" (2001)

A brother and sister are driving through the countryside over spring break when they have an encounter with a creepy creature ready to eat flesh.

19. "Gremlins" (1984)

A boy finds himself with a new, adorable pet who is guaranteed to remain an angel as long as three rules are followed. Of course, he doesn't follow the rules and his little angel turns into a little monster.

20. "Young Frankenstein" (1974)

A nutty scientist is invited to Transylvania. There, he has the opportunity to prove he isn't insane and discovers the process of reviving a dead body.

21. "Halloween is Grinch Night" (1977)

Yup! You read it right another Grinch movie! This time he's back to steal Halloween and torment those whos once again!
