Hey there! Oh, you remembered my birthday? That's so sweet. How old will I be? 20. Yeah, I know. 20 years is crazy old. Imagine how I feel! Oh no, no,no! You don't have to get me anything. Well...if you insist! Here's a list of things I would like for my 20th birthday.

1) Fall to be here already so I can wear long sleeves again.

2) A vacation.

3) Learn how to do makeup.

No, not buy me makeup. Like, buy me skills to do makeup.

4) Not to worry about my future.

I get anxiety just thinking what I want for lunch.

5) My cats to get along for once.

6) All my favorite shows to come back from hiatus.

7) Stop getting acne.

I'm 20. Why do I get zits like I'm still in middle school?

8) My dad to stop lecturing me on why I should get into computers.

9) Have the stamina to get through some of my classes.

10) Form complete sentences when I talk to people.

I'm awkward and shy and when I have to speak I sound like an idiot. What do you want from me?!

11) Have more faith in myself.

12) My sister to stop taking my things.

13) Develop better tastebuds.

Because I apparently can't live on nuggets and lean cuisine for the rest of my life.

14) Better presidential candidates.

15) My computer to stop overheating.

16) Motivation to get my drivers license.

17) Be a little taller.

Or at least enough that I'm not almost a legal midget.

18) No longer needing to shave.

The struggles of having Chewbacca legs while not being motivated to shave is real.

19) Super powers. Preferably flying or teleportation.

20) And, chocolate cake.

If you can't obtain any of these items then clothes, gift cards, money, and sharing this article are perfectly acceptable things too. Thank you for making my birthday special!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
