My eight favorite fashion icons from '80s fictional characters to present day fashion models. The likes of the Kardashian clan to the Upper East Siders in "Gossip Girl" make my list.

Here are eight fashion icons I model my fashion style after:

1. Kourtney Kardashian

Even though it's hard to have a favorite in the Kardashian/Jenner clan, Kourtney and Kylie are definitely two of the sisters I Keep Up with the most. Kourtney Kardashian might be my favorite fashionista of them all!

I love her bold looks and classic accessories. She frequently dresses her outfits up with trendy small glasses, fashionable blazers, and colorful boots. Not to forget an amazing hairstyle!

2. Cher Horowitz

Paramount Pictures

This ICONIC movie starring Alicia Silverstone is the definition of a perfect wardrobe. The movie is surrounded by the theme of fashion and good looks, which Cher exhibits perfectly. "AS IF" she wouldn't have the perfect style!

3. Halsey

Halsey / Instagram

Halsey is one of my favorite fashion icons as she is into flashy and name brand clothing. Halsey always has to stand out for her unforgettable performances with an unforgettable outfit! Each outfit must match her colorful hair and makeup!

4. Rachel Green

Warner Bros. TV

Rachel Green is the best example of the Perfect '90s Fashion. Not only is Rachel bold with her looks, she always manages to change it up and pull off every look.

5. Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner is another sister out of the Kardashian/Jenner clan that I cannot stop myself from "Keeping Up With"! The famous supermodel and Victoria Secret Angel is constantly pulling off cute, but risky outfits making you want to own her entire wardrobe!

6. Blair Waldorf

The CW

What says style icon more than Blair Waldorf?

Not only does her mother own Waldorf designs, but she is one of the few icons of the Upper East Side, not to mention the Queen Bee of Constance!

7. Bella Hadid

Bella Hadid, the face of Dior and high-end fashion icon knows how to prove her style on the streets!

Hadid is never shy when it comes to fashion and manages to make very bold moves work with her exotic features. She is definitely one of the most stylish women of 2018.

8. Serena Van Der Woodsen

Serena Van Der Woodsen, the iconic Upper East Sider from Gossip Girl makes her name known in the tabloids for her flashy dresses, designer bags, and it girl fashion. She completes the dynamic duo with her best friend, Blaire Waldorf by her side!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Whether you met your new love interest online, through mutual friends, or another way entirely, you'll definitely want to know what you're getting into. I mean, really, what's the point in entering a relationship with someone if you don't know whether or not you're compatible on a very basic level?

Consider these 21 questions to ask in the talking stage when getting to know that new guy or girl you just started talking to:

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
