It's summer at last! Some of country music's biggest and best songs are making their way to the airwaves this summer. Sometimes, all you need to do is roll your windows down, blast the radio and sing songs at the top of your lungs. Here are some of the highlights you should know:

1. Thomas Rhett - Vacation

This track from his most recent album is the feel good summer anthem that we've all been waiting for. With lyrics about putting liquor in coconut water and partying like you're at your Alma mater, this is sure to fly up the charts this summer.

2. Jake Owen - American Country Love Song

This song details those small, but important aspects of love that make us fall harder than we ever could have imagined. It's telling that person you love that you love them by putting their name on your license plate, kissing each other in your driveway and requesting that the radio DJ plays your favorite song.

3. Maren Morris - 80s Mercedes

This is everything that a country summer hit should be about: being carefree, driving and turning heads without meaning to. Every time that I hear this song I wish that I was driving in a convertible on a random road.

4. Keith Urban - The Fighter (feat. Carrie Underwood)

Keith Urban teams up with Carrie Underwood on a song that sounds like it could also be a hit on the Top 40 stations. Underwood questions what will happen if she cries, falls and gets scared. In this duet, Urban has responses for her. It's the kind of song that makes you want to get up and dance even though you didn't have a good day.

5. Clare Dunn - Tuxedo

Some men need a tuxedo to look nice and impress their lady. Clare Dunn's does not. All he needs is his blue jeans and boots.

6. Old Dominion - Song For Another Time

This song chronicles the tale of two who both know that what they have right now will soon be gone once the other leaves. What I enjoy most about this track is that it looks toward the future when the singer will be looking back and reminiscing. It's a strange feeling to capture.

7. Dierks Bentley - Freedom

I've had this album on repeat since it was released. "Freedom" uses imagery to talk about ways that freedom is shown or felt: getting the keys to the car, a kiss after a broken heart or the classroom bell ringing. Dierks sings, "We all wanna break the chains / Feel the wind against our face."

8. Dierks Bentley - Somewhere On A Beach

"Somewhere On A Beach" is the song to tell your horrible ex "F*ck off. I'm having fun without you and don't need you anymore." Trust me when I say that you need to blast this one on full volume.

9. Eli Young Band - Saltwater Gospel

"Saltwater Gospel" is the song you want to listen to all day. You want to intimately listen to it through your headphones. You want to sing it with your friends in the car. It's a song that always fits whatever setting you may be in. Eli sings, "When I go down and sink my feet in the water/ And I soak up that sun, and I watch it set/ I can feel the power of the saltwater gospel/ I'm as close to God as I can get."

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
