The Oscars are now over with; Chris Rock's speech began the night, "Mad Max" swept all of the awards, and Leo finally won his first Academy Award. But I have always looked forward to what the stars wear on the red carpet. Ladies and gents, I give you, the five best and the five worst dressed of the 2016 Oscars.
Best Dressed:
5. Mindy Kaling
Not only did "Inside Out" win Best Animated Film, but the voice of Disgust rocked the red carpet in Elizabeth Kennedy. Cobalt blue is definitely a good color on her...
...who am I kidding? Mindy rocks every color.
4. Tina Fey
The Versace dress that the queen of comedy wore flatters and highlights everything perfectly. How old is Tina again? 35?
3. Jennifer Garner
In Atelier Versace, Jennifer Garner makes it look like "13 Going On 30" was only five years ago (Newsflash: the movie will be 12 years old this year! Seriously, what's her secret?).
2. Olivia Munn
I honestly don't know who she is, but I think she is one of the very few who can pull off orange and a middle part at the same time.
1. Rachel McAdams
I might be a little bias, because she is my favorite actress. But seriously, Rachel can pull off anything and everything (movie roles, hair colors, and clothes). I'm convinced she's not even human.
And my favorite part of award shows, the part that is sure to be making Joan Rivers rolling in her grave (RIP "Fashion Police" alum), the worst dressed!
Worst Dressed:
5. Olivia Wilde
Pleats just don't do anything for me. The dress takes away from her figure and gives her a boxy shape.
4. Amy Poehler
Love her and all, but this is overwhelming on her tiny frame.
3. Sandy Powell
Kind of looks like a tribute to David Bowie. If that was the idea, then good for her! Otherwise, I'm just not feeling this.
2. Jacqueline West
Little too Amish for the Oscars. The slip peeking out from under makes me think it's not supposed to be there, and the heels are just don't compliment the style of the dress.
1. Heidi Klum
Your hair and makeup look fab, sista. But, this dress does nothing for you, sorry not sorry. The one sleeve and flowers are too much. The whole ombre look doesn't seem to suit someone Heidi's age, and that peek-a-boo middle just seems so off for this kind of dress.
