Some of Hollywood's most famous and beloved faces came together at the 73rd Golden Globes to honor all of the incredible performances over the past few months on the big screen and television. The Golden Globes don't exactly have the same magnitude as winning an Oscar or an Emmy, but the ceremony itself is a little more informal and a lot more unpredictable, creating an inevitable eventful evening. Ricky Gervais (accompanied by his daring monologue) returned as a Golden Globes host for the fourth time. Other celebrity hosts included Brad Pitt, Ryan Gosling, Jennifer Lawrence, Eva Longoria, Katy Perry, Tom Hanks, Orlando Bloom, and Lady Gaga.
The Hollywood Foreign Press Association determines which films and shows deserve an award during an extremely confidential voting process. (Seriously, they're really mysterious. I'll never understand how they decided to categorize "The Martian" as a musical or comedy.) Anyways, without further ado, here are the winners for the 73rd Golden Globes!

Beyond the awards, the night was filled with of inappropriate and cringe-worthy jokes, an engagement announcement between "Spy" actor Jason Statham and former Victoria's Secret Model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, a new meme of Denzel Washington to replace Chrissy Teigen's infamous awkward smile, and a whole lot of anticipation to see if Leo will snag that Academy Award next. All in all, it was a good night.
