20 Times You Can’t Even This Week

1. You have another midterm...it's week 9.

2. It’s below 15 degrees. AGAIN.

3. You receive sassy emails from your bank about overdrawing this month. WOMP.

4. You lose your phone charger and can’t afford a new one so you bounce room to room borrowing them like a charging nomad.

5. You see your BFF’s gorgeous insta photos of her on spring break and you're like nahhh.

6. You finally get around to washing your sheets and they are dyed a mysterious black color in the washing machine.

7. You lose your course packet RIGHT before reading week.

8. You lose your jacket at the Deuce and now have two weeks to earn that money back before you go home to Mom. Sorry Mom.

9. The J Barb photos you’ve waited all week to be uploaded portray you as a sweaty drunk mess.

10. The toilet flusher falls off your toilet while you’re finally cleaning it for the first time this quarter.

11. Your winter quarter crush hasn’t responded to any of your Snaps this week.

12. Your boyfriend breaks up with you and now your spring break plans are in the crapper. Staycation anyone?

13. You twist your ankle on a rogue patch of ice the first day it’s above 32 degrees.

14. You come down with wicked Mono right before DM and are secretly kinda relieved. You can even.

15. You ordered a pair of leggings online in black and they came in white. Cause that’s flattering.

16. You finally have a Date Night to blow off some steam, and you chip your tooth on the party bus.

17. The one morning you can finally sleep in, someone schedules a meeting at 9 am.

18. Starbucks is out of soy milk.

19. You treat yourself to a manicure and chip it within the hour.

20. A man catcalls you from his car the moment you walk outside to greet the day.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
