I am so excited to do all the Disney things!

2. When you get your costume.

Woah, wait a minute. Is this a skirt or shorts? They're so comfy. I could totally sleep in this thing. I've never been so excited to wear polka dot gauchos. Awe, look at me. I'm so official.

3. When you watch "Wishes" for the first time.

I'm good, I swear. I'm just really feeling the magic. No, no. I'm definitely not crying. I just got a little firework dust in my eye.

4. When you’re trying to diet, but you go to the parks.

Why yes, I would love to have a Mickey bar. And a cream cheese pretzel? Why not? Oh, also corn dog nuggets! And sure, I'll take a dole whip too while we're at it. Treat yourself, am I right?

5. When you realize you don’t actually know how to be an adult.

Ramen, cereal and peanut butter and jelly should not be eaten this many times in one week.

6. When you're trying your hardest to cheer up guests.

You can't be sad, you're in Disney. Smile. Please smile. Hakuna Matata, remember? Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah? Please just laugh. Please?

7. When it’s peak season.

Please explain to me why I waited five minutes for Pirates of the Caribbean last week, but waited 55 minutes today.

8. When the buses make you late for work.

Sorry I'm late, the bus caught fire. Again.

9. When people ask if you miss being in school.

Do I miss 18 credit hours of classes, tests, anxiety and projects and finals? No.

10. When you watch "Wishes" for the 12th time.

Such magic. I am still not crying.

11. When you’re defending your role in quick service to your friends back home.

Hanger is a real thing and I'm saving the entire park by stopping it. You're welcome, Walt Disney World.

12. When your ER request is denied.

But, but, but...

13. When you’re trying to get money out of your bank account for new merchandise.

I need Flower & Garden merchandise and "Star Wars" merchandise. And don't even get me started on Cast Connections.

14. When you watch "Wishes" for the 28th time.

It just hits my feelings every time.

15. When you’re off and all your roommates have to work.

I am all alone, with no one here, beside me...

16. When you pull up to the parks on your day off.

Disney! Disney! Disney!

17. When you don’t get a white glove.

Oops...

18. When you watch "Wishes" for the 50th time.

I swear this will never get old.

19. When you think about leaving all your new friends.

Seriously, why does everyone I meet live on the opposite end of the country?

20. Whenever you remember you get to work for the mouse.

I love this place. I love my job. I love my life.
