So, the election happened. Whether you're happy Trump won or totally distraught over the results, it happened. And, despite what some people seem to believe, no matter how many American flags you burn, the results of this election are not going to somehow change. But, here are some thoughts we all had during this election, from the very beginning to the very end:

1. When Trump declared he was running for the Republican nominee

2. When Trump & Clinton won the primaries


3. When you felt the Bern and no one else did

4. When you watched the debates

5. When Clinton was investigated by the FBI... twice

6. When Gary Johnson didn't know Aleppo

7. When the footage of Trump's gross comment surfaced

8. When you don't even know who Jill Stein is

9. When everyone was saying Hillary would win

10. When Trump won Ohio

11. When people wouldn't shut up on Twitter

12. When Trump won Florida

13. When you voted third party


14. When every one of your Facebook friends becomes a politician in the course of three hours

15. When Trump won the Presidential election

16. When the Canadian Immigration website crashes

17. When the election is finally over

18. When Hillary gives her concession speech


19. When people start rioting

20. When you realize you're actually going to miss the Obamas
