Our time has come. We’ve embarked on our journey as Penn State seniors. As emotional as it is to think about the fact that this is our last year as Penn State undergraduates, it’s also exciting. We’ve got a hell of a year ahead of us, and you better believe we’re going to go out with a bang.
Here are 20 thoughts we’re all most likely going to have at some point as Penn State seniors this year.
“Ugh. Class. No.”
“Oh, the textbook is required? Challenge accepted.”
“I’ll wait until after my first exam to see if I really end up needing any textbooks.”
“I have so many late drop credits left... Plus, if worse comes to worst, I can always stay and do an extra semester… Or two.”
“Is the attendance policy listed in the syllabus? I’m not going to class unless I have to.”
“Thank God I don’t have class early on Thursdays. Gaffeoke Wednesdays are a necessity, not an option.”
“Wow, the freshmen look like babies.... Did I look like that?!”
“Okay, only one glass of wine with dinner tonight. I have to detox.”
“I want to complain about this sunburn I got at Saturday’s game, but then I think about how cold it will be soon and I can’t even be upset about it.”
“No amount of coffee in this world could make me get out of bed today.”
“Classes just started and you’re freshmen - how are you already dating?!”
“I planned my schedule so I’d be finished class early on Fridays. One word: Café.”
“ANOTHER noon game? Are you serious?”
"Sorry mom and dad, doesn't look like I'll be coming home any time soon."
“Oh, it’s raining. Can’t venture out in this weather. Looks like I won’t be attending class today.”
“Oh, it’s 60+ degrees and sunny. Can’t stay inside in this weather. Looks like I won’t be attending class today.”
“OrderUp saves lives.”
“I probably should stay in tonight… But then again, you’re only a senior once.”
“I forgot how much I missed it here.”
“How am I ever going to leave this place?”
Don’t lie – you know you were thinking it, too.
