1. Wait, classes start on a Monday? Didn't we start on like Wednesday in high school?

2. I will attempt to make all A's this year. Or at least until I get my first exam grade.

3. I live closer to the Rec Center so I will work out at LEAST three times a week.

4. After four semesters I still haven't learned my lesson about 9 a.m. classes.

5. Oh gosh, I forgot about Louisville weather.

6. Why did my professor require a textbook that isn't available on Chegg and costs more than my car payment?

7. FREE FOOD. SWEET GLORIOUS OPENING WEEK FREE FOOD.

8. I only have to look presentable the first week of classes and then it's right back to soccer shorts and t-shirts.

9. Mark's Feed Store? Hopefully I'll get my food faster now.

10. Apparently the Ville Grill has better food. Hmm.

11. "WALK SIIIIGN SECOND STREET" will forever haunt my dreams.

12. Mr. Jim has been moved to McAlister's.

13. Also, McAlister's is still a bad idea for lunch if you want to wait less than 30 minutes in line.

14. I am so thankful I can finally cut through where the museum construction used to be because that means I get to sleep in longer.

15. I finally have a car which means I never have to ride the TARC again.

16. I can tell you're a freshman form your swagalicious lanyard.

17. Why do all of these freshman look older than me?

18. I promise to have at least a small social life when I turn 21 in about a month.

19. I wish I still had my freshman meal plan.

20. Hold on, wasn't junior year in high school the hardest year of my life?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
