20 Thoughts During The Last Class Of The Week

When all you want is the weekend, that last class on Friday can be a little painful.

20 Thoughts During The Last Class Of The Week

When all you want is to be done for the weekend and relax with your friends, the worst feeling is being trapped in that last lecture of the week. We all know the feeling, no matter how much you like the class, sometimes all you want is for the professor to stop talking and take even just a couple hours to do something nonacademic and decompress after a long week. Here are some of my thoughts during the last class of the week:

1. Alright, last class, I can do this, just one more hour until my weekend starts.

2. *Professor starts talking* Okay, maybe this class won’t be as boring today, the topic seems kind of interesting.

3. I’m going to take the best notes ever today so I actually pay attention.

4. Nope, just kidding, not that interesting.

5. Alright, well, I can take out my laptop and get some other work done, yeah I’ll still be productive.

6. Wow, I’m exhausted, I would love a nap right now.

7. I definitely have time for a nap after this afternoon.

8. And a snack.

9. Maybe chocolate.

10. Definitely lots of chocolate, I deserve it.

11. *Checks clock* It’s only been 30 minutes…

12. I don’t understand why I need to know any of this.

13. Maybe the professor will let us out early today.

14. *Professor asks question* I wasn’t listening.

15. What if he calls on me, I don’t even know what’s going on.

16. Okay, I am going to pay attention now, I got this.

17. Now all I can think about is chocolate.

18. Oh wait, only 5 minutes left, yes! Wait, why did he just start a new example?

19. Why is the professor still talking? It's time to leave.

20. *Professor says he'll see us next week* YESSSSSS! FREEDOM! NAP TIME, SNACK TIME, ME TIME. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO EXCITED IN MY LIFE!
