Ah sleep, my favorite past time. I deeply regret the days when I took nap time at school for granted. It doesn’t matter if I get 10 hours or two hours of sleep the night before, if I have to wake up before 10 a.m., the struggle is real. Here are 20 thoughts most of us wish we didn’t have to have in the early morning:
- What the hell is that noise?!
- Did I mean to set that alarm?
- No, please God, no.
- Okay, 20 more minutes.
- Maybe I can get back to this dream I was having if I fall back to sleep quick enough.
- Great, now I have to pee. No, I don’t care. I am pushing through this. I will not get up!
- Okay, 15 more minutes.
- Did I even fall asleep at all?
- I’m just not going to do life today.
- When can I take a nap today?
- (Insert obnoxious frustrated grunting noise here.)
- Okay, just 10 more minutes.
- No one gets me like my bed does.
- I’m canceling all plans until forever.
- Sleep over everything.
- I wish I was a cat. They get to sleep whenever.
- Just five more minutes and I swear I’ll get up.
- My alarm clock is a home wrecker, always trying to break my bed and me up.
- I’m definitely allergic to mornings; I should look into getting a doctor's note.
- Only nine more hours until we are reunited.
