Just about everyone is excited for James Franco's visit to campus on April 15, 2016 (only four days before his own birthday!). His highly anticipated arrival to Moravian has resulted in a sold out show. Even though he is a big name throughout the world, and has found lots of success in Hollywood, there are probably some things that you don't know about him. Before he makes a stop in Bethlehem, PA, here are twenty facts about James Franco that you may or may not already know.
1. He was born on April 19, 1978 in Palo Alto, California
2. He used to shoplift expensive cologne in high school, and re-sell it to his classmates
3. He likes to paint in his free time
4. He’s a licensed pilot as a result of his role in "Flyboys"
5. He's trained in horseback riding and sword fighting
6. He’s the oldest child, and has two brothers
7. He dropped out of UCLA after finishing his freshman year
8. He worked at McDonald's in order to support himself after dropping out of college
9. He went back to UCLA and got a degree in English Literature
10. While enrolled in Yale’s English Literature PhD program, he also was working on a Master’s degree in Digital Media at RISD
11. He studied film at NYU’s Tisch grad program, and fictional writing at Columbia University, and Brooklyn College all at the same time.

13. He auditioned for the role of Peter Parker in "Spider-Man"
